There is a close relation between the happening of landslide and water. The storage and movement of groundwater are the main natural factors that affect the stability of landslide. According to statistics, more than 90% of rock side slope breakages were related to the function of groundwater, 30%-40% of dam malfunctions were caused by groundwater seepage. The direct repulsive factor of most landslides in China is the state change of groundwater by rainfall seepage. Since water plays a very important role in the stability of side slope, it's very meaningful to pay attention to the single factor analysis of water and drainage for landslide realignment. To deploy drainage scientifically and reasonably and to evaluate the effect of drainage has great practical meaning to landslide prevention and realignment engineering. In this dissertation, taking on National Natural Science Fund Project"A Detailed Research on the Post-Evaluation of the Effect of Landslide Realignment"as background, beginning with the geological character of upper platform landslide, the stratum litho logy, geological structure, terrain, physiognomy and climate condition in the landslide zone are analyzed totally, then a deep anatomy is committed on the mechanism of upper platform landslide, and by stability analysis and factor sensibility calculation, the conclusion is reached that the height of groundwater plays a vital important role to the happening of upper platform landslide, then landslide drainage realignment measures are analyzed, drainage effect is evaluated, and brief scheme optimal suggestions are put forward to existing drainage design. Lastly, basing on the hydrological geology investigation and analysis of the upper platform zone seepage, the character of the change of landslide groundwater seepage is simulated and analyzed by running GEO-SLOPE software. The effect of drainage corridor to the stability of land slope is reviewed, the impact of deploying drainage corridor to reduce water table is verified, and conclusion is reached that the drainage effect is good in this landslide groundwater drainage engineering.
