Geospatial Information Conversion Technology Based On HGML

With the development of information technology, digital earth to become the focus of scientific research in the Earth, and peple paid more and more attention. The Digital Earth platform as a figure of the Earth platform to display and applicate information that was developed rapidly in recent years. And it affects people's lives.The large number of earth platform in which based on the G / S model figure of the Earth platform for its advanced technology, good architecture to become the next generation of digital earth platform leader, in order to provide a new way of convert geographic data information.In this paper, HGML standard's spatial data format conversion on the G / S model. to resolve the problems that the complexity Geographic Information and lack of a unified description of space geographic information as a result of making different data formats used to describe spatial object data model is different from that caused losing data and during the conversion process and data conversion is not an accurate expression of information source data and so on.This paper mainly includes the following:Chapter 1: Introduction of represents the information on the geographic data development, Situation of Study, social significance and its future development trends, and further draw that the study data format conversion for the necessity of unity and development of meaning.Chapter 2: Introduce the definition of spatial information platform and its'construction significance of and the development orientation of spatial information platform. On this basis a new space structure type of the network service system, we propose geo-information based on the browser (Geo-Information Browser) and Spatial Information on the Server (Spatial Information Server) of the G / S model, and we make a deep analysis and research in the theory and architecture and technology of the G / S model.Chapter 3: After studying the data format of HGML standards, introduced on G / S model of the HGML format conversion and the background of the meaning and mode conversion. Analysis HGML format standards'conversion mode of the status and development, and further come to a conclusion that the data format conversion of necessity and significance.Chapter 4: Realized HGML geographic data sets'conversion tools. Through the deployment and operation of the data showed that the conversion process, the modular design and coding are to be achieve and good.Finally article summarizes the research results, and need fulfillment of the expansion functions, to identify shortcomings and the way forward.
