This research regards SPOT5 as the information source, utilizing the remote sensing technology to carry on the experiment study of the investigation in Zhashui counties, XiaoLin towns. The main content includs image process, Optimum band combination, image fusion analysis. The main content and conclusion of this research is summed up as follows:1,This paper introduces the character of SPOT5, some basic method and knowledge about processing Remote Sensing. Image rectification and Image registration are down by ENVI4.5.2,The Optimum band combination is 1(R),4(G),2(B) of this region according to the mean, the Standard Deviation, the information entropy, the Correlation Coefficient and the OIF.3,This paper introduces the basic concepts, the purpose, the level of methods, processes and basic theory of multi-source remote sensing image fusion; It focuses on four methods of pixel-level fusion, such as Brovey fusion method, HIS transform fusion method, Principal Component Analysis fusion method, Product fusion method. It also writes the corresponding program in VC + +6.0 platform to analysis. At the same time, this paper uses the subjective qualitative evaluation and objective quantitative evaluation criterions of fused images to assess test result. The best fusion method is HIS. 4,At last, this paper enunciates the methods of this classification, and joins the collected datum. It gets the basic situation of forest resources in Zhashui counties, XiaoLin towns.
