In the past fifty years, a large number of scientific literatures have been accumulated about research of ChangBai Mountain and the Northeast Asia. Scientific literatures are important records of scientific research, and are also basal symbols of scientific and technological development. There are many different types of scientific literature about ChangBai Mountain. The contents of research include geology, geomorphology, hydrology, meteorology, zoology, botany and other fields. However, when designed the network services, it always provide users professional database to query and browser, and the results of the query are absolutely presented in the form of table and text. The users can not understand hundred-percent information of the research, therefore, it results in that there can't be met the different researcher to study. The study area which be mentioned in the literature, can only be roughly conjectured in the mind of the user and not be accurately displayed. Therefore, in order to enable people to intuitively understand, query and analyze the attribute information, space technology came into being.Duo to the development of network technology, it is provides the necessary technical support for the organization and publication of the scientific literature. Because of the characteristics of spatial information about ChangBai Mountain scientific literature, it is able to achieve the space of expression by WebGIS.In this paper, basing on the technology of WebGIS, the way of spacial expression scientific literature was studied. According to the characteristics of the scientific literature about ChangBai Mountain, the scientific literatures were organized and published by ArcGIS Sever.
