Preliminary Research On Reproductive Outset Of Lasiopodonmys Brandtii

Brandt's vole is a typical grassland species,distributed in China's Inner Mongolia,the Mongolian People's Republic,as well as Russia's Lake Baikal region.Brandt's vole is a typical grassland pest rat in China.The Study on the reproduction outset of Brandt's vole,we focus mainly on the impact of ecological factors.Results as follows:(1) In two different groups(heat treatment and control),reproduction outset time of the two treatments with the same gender is synchronized,and the speed of reproduction is also synchronized(P_f=0.607＞0.05,P_m=0.862＞0.05),there is no significant difference.The reproductive outset date in male comes earlier than female by less than month.The reproductive outset date of the male is about February 12,and the female is March 3.Compared with the control,the effect of heat treatment was not especially obvious.As the beginning of breeding Starts,the body weight of Brandt's voles significantly increases.Male's weight gain weight first, and the female later.As we know,in early spring as the temperature increase,the breeding of Brandt's vole begins,and body weight increases.The temperature period increasing may impact on breeding.However,temperature increasing is closely related to day prolong in the early spring.(2) In the reproductive period,the reproductive organs and body weight varies significantly. Mainly in the following:decline of male testes,appearance of female vaginal.Especially for the male,body weight increases significantly in a short time.(3) When the breeding season is about to begin,the behaviors of Brandt's vole change.Such as cooperation in the last winter becomes competition for spouses.In different combinations of the groups,the situation is different,such as when male or female are more for some time in the groups,the struggle between the same sex behaviors is more apparent.(4) With the breeding season,the activity of Brandt's vole increases,which show that the numbers of the holes and the gradually increasing scope of activities in the early spring are closely related to temperature.To sum up,Brandt's vole breeding outset in the early spring is influenced by a variety of factors,rather than individual factor,in which temperature and food play a restricting role.That is why Brandt's vole stops breeding in winter,and begin in the early spring...
