This study used survey methodology community study, Of urban green space - green space Huhhot campus to conduct a comprehensive investigation, analysis of the composition of plant communities on campus, distribution and structural characteristics, as well as changing trends, for future construction and improvement of urban green space, especially in campus construction and management of green spaces provide a valuable theoretical basis. According to the survey, combined with literature, composed of three colleges in the main tree species are: Inner Mongolia University, 22 Section, 41 genera, 64 kinds; Inner Mongolia Teacher-training University, 22 Section, 29 genera, 49 kinds; Inner Mongolia Agricultural University 29, eastern branch, 47 genera, 81 kinds; Inner Mongolia Agricultural University 30 western branch, 50 genera, 80 kinds. General all investigations of plant communities, Inner Mongolia University campus tree plants mainly concentrated in the 5 ~ 25 cm diameter class, during which more than 800 strains of Tatsu quantity, accounting for 90.5 percent of total survey; Inner Mongolia Teacher-training University campus tree plants mainly concentrated in the 5 ~ 30 cm diameter class, during which more than 600 strains of Tatsu quantity, accounting for 89.2%of the total survey; Inner Mongolia Agricultural University campus tree plants mainly concentrated in the 5 ~ 25 cm diameter class, during which Eastern Tatsu quantity more than 880 strains, accounting for 89.9 percent of total survey, Western Tatsu quantity more than 900 strains, accounting for 91 %. Investigate the height distribution of tree plants on campus, results show that the campus of the University of Inner Mongolia many green plants concentrated in the 5 ~ 9m height of the scope; Inner Mongolia teacher-training University campus green plants 7 ~ 9m high concentration of the scope; Inner Mongolia Agricultural University campus green plants concentrated in the height of 3 ~ 9m range. Combination of shrub layer and herb layer of the dominant species, plant communities will be the campus of the University of Inner Mongolia is divided into 39 community types; Plant community in Inner Mongolia Teacher-training University, the campus is divided into 33 community types; Inner Mongolia Agricultural University campus plant community is divided into 77 community types, one of the East Campus of plant community is divided into 37 communities, plant communities in the West Campus is divided into 40 community types .3 Colleges and Universities essential value of species ranking for Tabulaeformis>Bolleana> Sabina>Semiothisa>Clove>Juniper>Sorbaria sorbifolia>Flowering almont>White stick> Arborvitae>P.davidiana>Willows>Botany>Weeping forsythia>Bungeanus evonymus>Ailanthus altissima, existing woody plants in the town green, Tabulaeformis,Bolleana, Sabina,Semiothisa,Clove,Juniper,Sorbaria sorbifolia,Flowering almont,White stick, Arborvitae,P.davidiana,Willows and other 12 kinds of tree species for the common species, accounting for almost all campus greening species 80%. Investigated by three colleges and universities Huhehaote plants overall average, the trend of species richness are tree layer> shrub layer> herb layer. Show that the wood of trees on campus rich layer, shrub layer and herb layer types of relatively simple components.Hohhot, the region combined with geographical location, the characteristics of the humanities, the development direction and the existing plant resources, the campus green space plan:(1) Study the use of community principles, to follow the principles of plant diversity to enrich the species diversity;(2)Trees, shrubs, herbaceous combining a combination of evergreen and deciduous trees;(3) Campus green point, line, organic combination of noodle;(4) The promotion of "near natural" community development;(5) Improve the quality of green space system, exert the campus of the ecological benefits of green space system;(6) Set up a high-quality management team on campus green space.
