Nonlinear science is a foundational discipline which concerns the common properties of nonlinear phenomena.Particularly,chaos theory is one of important subdisciplines of nonlinear science.Chaos,as a kind of nonlinear phenomenon,has many remarkable characteristics:such as pseudo-random,unpredictability of evolution of its orbits,properties of mixing and sensitivity to initial conditions and system parameters.These characteristics are in accordance with the requirements of traditonal cipher.Research also shows that there is some relation between security commnications and chaos.Chaos synchronization and secure communication has been an active research of nonlinear subject.The relative problems of chaos synchronization and secure communication are studied in this paper.The main contents are as follows:Firstly,this paper researchs the design of the nonlinear observer of the hyperchaotic systems' synchronization(as hyperchaotic Chen system,Rrssler system) based on Lyapunov theory.The design of the nonlinear observer with universality is proposed.The hyperchaotic systems' self-synchronization and the synchronization for different structures are realized. And the other synchronization,i.e.the generalized synchronization,is used in the secure communication.Take the chaotic mask as an example,the simulation is done for the secure communication based on the synchronization of the hyperchaotic Chen system.Secondly,based on the hyperchaotic encryption and the elliptic curves cryptography,this paper proposes a compound encryption scheme that improves the security of the Mobile Ad hoc Networks.The main work are as follows:this scheme is used in Ad hoc Network without the base station and with small amount of resourse information,and the simulation shows the feasibility;the adaptive synchronization is used to increase the controller maks thecombine of the hyperchaotic system encryption and the elliptic curves cryptography possible that enhance the security.The simulation shows that if this scheme is used in the Ad hoc Network,it will enchance the robustness,the validity and the resource utilization,and decrease the complexity of the protocol.
