Since the 10th"five-year plan"into practice, our country invest more than 80 billion RMB each year for the exploration and the development of the oil and gas resources, has accumulated masses data and material. The same time, many oil and gas companies make great contribution to the construction of the database foundation of oil and gas resources explorations, and all of these efforts have formed the relative stabile channel of data, establish the foundation of the Geographic Information System for Oil&Gas Resources.The Geographic Information System for Oil&Gas Resources is the important content of the oil and gas resources database construction project. This system is not only to provide information for the Ministry of Land and Resources and other related commissions, but also for the oil and gas companies, the scientific research colleges and universities, the social public and so on. The Geographic Information System for Oil&Gas Resources is the basic foundation and guarantee for the government service through graphics and vector graph processing for the existing data. It can demonstrate the geologic structure, the exploration and development, the potential of regional oil and gas resources development and other information vividly, thus could understand the actuality of our country oil and gas resources. This system is the software platform for government management and has the very realistic significance for the support of oil and gas resources sustainable development and the policy research. Through the effective management of the national oil and gas resources data, and the utilization of advanced geographic information system technology, it can establish the new application environment to provide supporting, research and decision for the Oil&Gas Company, to come into value and benefit, enhance the competitive ability. The Geographic Information System for Oil&Gas Resources dose not only collect, save and manage the data of national oil and gas resources, provide the data platform for the geologist and the geophysicist, but also satisfy the social public requirement of oil and gas resources knowledge.In the process of analyzing the requirement of the Geographic Information System for Oil&Gas Resources, I analyzed and sorted the user function requirement and existing data. The data origin mainly contains five types, including geology spatial data, Excel document report, the data in the Oil&Gas Resources management information system of the Ministry of Land and Resources prospecting committee, and the data on paper material. The user function requirement mainly contains 5 big aspects, including the requirement of data spatial demonstration, the requirement of spot, line, surface for oil and gas information inquiry, the requirement though space division to calculate, the requirement to distinguish identical data of different type and different scalar step, the requirement of inputting and outputting then printing out.By the requirements of users and existing data, architecture design includes 4 layers, which are the application layer, the logistic layer, the data accessing layer, the data layer. The application layer contains the map layer foundation module, the spatial data demonstration module, the spatial data basic function module, the spatial general inquiry module, the spatial data localization module, the spatial data division module, the spatial data statistics module, the spatial data render module, the spatial data input module, the spatial data output module, the spatial data printing and so on. The system carries on the development through each com of Arcgis in logistic layer, and the data accessing layer through ArcSDE, ADO.Net, and ODBC carries on the reading and saving. In the data layer, the data is saved by shape form or Oracle database form.On the stage of code design and executable design of Geographic Information System for Oil&Gas Resources I designed the main frame of the system and all functional modules. The main frame contains five paths, including Managing areas,Content areas, Displaying areas, Toolbar, List box. The areas are rational layout, easy to operate. The system develops several function modules. the spatial data demonstration module demonstrated that geological structure, development potential of oil and gas resources, exploration and development of the status, management for mining industry lease, management for supervision through Geographic Information System in figures and diagrams way image, but also had demonstrated the oil and gas production, refining, transportation, save and marketing. The spatial data statistics modules thorough analyzes our country oil and gas resources situation at present, forecasts our country oil and gas economy. The spatial data inquiry and the localization modules associated closely the attribute data and the spatial data in the oil and gas resources database, have realized interoperability of the spatial data and attribute data. It simultaneously located and made high light in the inquiry spatial data, enhanced the understanding of users which related between the spatial data and the attribute data. The spatial data division module divides and gets spatial data, and calculates new attribute data by area proportion, through spatial data topological relations. It can analyze spatial data statistics by data consolidation to forecast many non-statistics oil and gas resources data. The spatial buffer inquiry function can query the oil and gas resources information in buffer by establishing figure buffer. All these provide the basis of research the relationship of oil and gas resources. The spatial data foundation module can draw the original attribute coordinate to create the coordinate data as spatial layer data; it has filled up the blank of the data graphics. The spatial data render module actualized division identical class but different values figure information by different styles and different icons, it can reflect the actuality of oil and gas resources directly. The spatial data input and output module could input vector graph to the geo-database or output vector graph, it is convenient to other software. It also could output as raster image, it is convenient to save and browse oil and gas data for users. The spatial data printing module support template match, it manufactures the accurate detailed oil and gas resources distribution map with different color, map, scale, geographic mesh.The Geographic Information System for Oil&Gas Resources defines 1: 4,000,000 topographical data as a sub-database in data definition aspect. And sub-database is divides into 9 classes, which are the geography class, the geology class, the pipeline class, the mining exploration lease class, the mining lease class, the company class, the well class, the geophysical exploration class, the stock base class. Each kind of class defined several layers, and in each layer it has defined several attribute fields, to save the basic information of figure, and accord with uses in preserving the primitive the basic information, and corresponds with the attribute information. The spatial databases also designed the data sheet to save the spatial division corresponding relationships, established the relationships between map layers. This established the foundation to inquiry spatial data attribute. The Geographic Information System for Oil&Gas Resources used the black-box test and the white-box test in the test phase. After each module compiling completed, I should carry on the black-box test to check out whether the system realize its function. To carry on white-box test to track this section of data is how to move in the system, whether runs as the process movement which the software is compiled, and if it has problem, what does feed back to client.In brief, the development of this system is conformed to the software development stipulation of software engineering strictly, and met users'each requirement. It can let users to understand oil and gas resources information of our country more comprehensive, accurately, detailed. And it can help to manage and research the oil and gas resources effortlessly. This system can support for the government macroscopic manage regional oil and gas economy, for the scientific research colleges and universities, the oil and gas companies the authentic database, And it has provided a platform for the social public to study and understand oil and gas resources knowledge.
