Due to much uncertainty of geological hazards occurrence , the integrated approach of multi- parameter indicators is accepted in regional geological hazards assessment . GIS-based spatial analysis approaches of regional geological hazards assessment—data driven weight model , in which the rating and weights are calculated by combining the historical geological hazards occurrence data with factors of developing geo-hazards based on statistical method,is more reliable for geological hazards assessment .Based on GIS and SPSS , the paper chooses Wannian province of Jiangxi City as the research target. Based on the rich practical data, the paper makes the in-depth research into various factors affecting the occurrence of geological hazards. With the logic regression model (Binary Logistic) and the assistance of SPSS statistical analysis software, the factor selection and the data layer superposition weight are solved and the precision and efficiency of geological hazards susceptive zoning are improved.According to activity and formation conditions of Wannian's geological hazards, choose the key factors of each geological hazards respectively. Then based on the calculated cell geological hazards probability of occurrence, the geological hazards risk in Wannian province is divided into 4 grades, namely extremely unstable, unstable, latent unstable and basically stable.Inspection is carried out on the new geological hazards sites of Wannian province. The result shows that the extremely unstable area and unstable area contain 76.7% of the verified geological hazards, indicating that the evaluation result is in reasonable agreement with the actual geological hazards.
