Mine resource is the important material base of the social development and country economic, which has the great influence on the regional economy development. There have been successful experiences in using remote sensing technology to monitor the exploitation situation of mineral resources at aboard, but at home, related experience are fairly rare. This research is supported by the project—"multi-objective mineral resources survey and monitoring of remote sensing about metallogenic belt with the focus of mine pool"The research aims the area of Dongsheng as its research area and conducted the mineral resource development condition investigation, which supplies a well technology roadmap for the father monitoring in the whole country. The research also provides vital significance to the related government department which maintains the normal mineral resource management order as well as the mining area environment synthesis renovates.At the beginning of the project, we collected the exited mine resource material, for example, the text information, DLG, the past image data etc, and choosing two kinds of remote sensing data—SPOT-5 and IKONOS, which have different spatial resolution. Many kinds of the processing have been used for image, for example, Ortho corrected, Image Enhancement, Data immerging processing etc. Which Raise the target features in the performance of remote sensing images, is conducive to the goal of the interpretation of surface features analysis. Information extraction is carried out in a major way to the use of human-computer interaction in MAPGIS. After the information extraction about various mineral resources, geological hazards, the surrounding environment, using module MAPGIS software statistics on access to information, and conducting further statistical analysis, and recommendations for sustainable development. Finally, conducting the situation in the development of mineral resources data warehousing, which making RS and GIS so closely integrated, and can supply a more orderly management and rational use of a variety of data mining while conducting remote sensing surveys to monitor the dynamic, and Facilitating a wider range of dynamic monitoring of mining, Provide easy-to-use, intuitive results of the digital, servicing in the supervision of mineral resources development, management and decision-making departments.
