Rencently ,the study of the artificial periodic structure arose people to understand an unusual materials again, which was called metamaterials. The concept was first put forward by Mandelshtam who is a physicist of the former Soviet Union in 1940. In 1968, Veselago also published an article expounding on its unique electromagnetic properties, such as Snell's law, the reversal of Doppler effect, and the reversal of Cerenkov effect and so on. Until 2001, the LHMs was firstly artificially fabricated by the group of Smith, who also firstly demonstrate the negative refractive index through experiment, published in《Science》magazine. So the research of Veselago has been demonstrated. Then, plenty of researchers began to study on the metamaterials in international.So the goal in this thesis is that though studying the properties of the conventional metamaterials structure, to develop high-performance metamaterials based on the relationship between the structure's parameters and electromagnetic parameters. Through calculating,analyzing the changed structure of the wires, it is found that the length change of the transverse-line doesn't influence the effective value of the permittivity. On the basic of this, the quadrate-ring structure was brought up, which realized the combination of the wire and the SRR. The real part of the permeability of the quadrate-ring structure is negative on the certain bandwidth, and the bandwidth will be wider as the ratio of the area occupied by a ring over the cell's area increases.Finally, based on the quadrate-ring structure, the crossing-net structure with three dimension anisotropism property was put forward, which increased the ratio of the area occupied by a ring over the cell's area mostly. It is proved that the crossing-new structure have both negative permittivity and negative permeability at wider bandwidth through computer emulating, the negative refraction bandwidth in x- and y-direction comes to 11 GHz, and in z direction comes to 16GHz. The new structure realized the three-dimension wider bandwidth negative refraction.
