Research Of Fault Characteristics And Hydrocarbon Accumulation Regularity Of Es4 In Lin 13 Block Region

Lin 13 fault block zone is in the middle of Linpan oilfield, which is on the central uplift belt of Huimin Sag. The oil bearing series of the block zone distributes from Sha-4 Member to Sha-1 Member. The intended interval is Sha-4 Member, which is under a lower research degree. Major problems that restrict the exploration and development include the indefinite structural framework, and the poorly researched reservoir genetic feature.According to problems, the process of research based on the high resolution sequence stratigraphy, do comprehensive application of the mud logging data, well logging data and seismic data, to do the sequence analysis of the studied zone, and finally to get the isochronous sequence stratigraphic framework. The Es4 member is divided in to 4 sand sets.There are 6 third-level faults and 17 fourth-level faults except boundary faults. One group 3 third-level planar alignment faults that strike EW, skew the other group 3 third-level planar alignment faults that strike NE. The whole block region is divided into 21 natural fault blocks, most of them are in little area. The reverse type natural fault block, and fault nose or flexure micro-structure in the natural block are favorable place for hydrocarbon accumulationOn the base of stratigraphic correlation, using the logging data and 3D seismic data, to analyses the structural feature of the studied zone, and to compile the structural diagrams on the relevant process. Analysis on the matched structural diagrams can help to research the structural feature of Lin 13 fault block zone, to investigate fault geometry, faults distribution and the assemblage characteristics.Summarizing the fault characteristics of Lin 13 fault block zone on the base of definite geological conditions, and the research of the hydrocarbon accumulation regularity through the analysis on the hydrocarbon accumulation elements, can apply reference to the further exploration and development.Analysis on the fault sealing shows that the third-level sealing middle, partly better; faults fourth-level faults sealing partly better.Es4 member of Lin 13 block region has better hydrocarbon accumulation conditions, 5 favorable places for hydrocarbon accumulation are defined according to the fault characteristics and fault sealing.
