As people's exploitation and application of river and ocean, the problem about ice load on structure in ice melting period is more and more notable .In this paper, the combination of the nonlinear contact patterns using nonlinear material and ice model tests will be used to analyze the ice force on offshore structure.The paper introduced the mechanic characters of ice at first and discusses several mechanism models and the formula calculation in profession criterion of ice load on the offshore structure. According to the finite element and nonlinear contact theory, using the ANSYS, a mathematical pattern of ice-offshore interaction can be created. Compared the results of these two structures, make sure which is more liable to destroy ice. At the same time, use the linear material to control load of structure. The load of ice stops increasing when it reaches some degree. This case is more according with fact.The combination of theory and experiment prove that this mathematic model is easy,viable and economical. This new cone structure is very useful to resist the load of ice.
