A Preliminary Study On The Classification Of Stenodemini Laporte (Heteroptera-Miridae) From Mongolian Plateau

The present dissertation mainly deals with the taxonomy of Stenodemini from Mongolian Plateau. A total of 31 species belonging to 8 genera (Actinocoris Reuter,Dolichomiris Reuter, Leptopterna Fieber,Myrmecoris Gorski, Notostira Fieber, Stenodema Laporte,Teratocoris Fieber,Trigonotylus Fieber) under tribes Stenodemini are recorded from Mongolian Plateau, Among them there is 1 new species (Notostira sinkiangensis sp.nov.) . The morphological and genital illustrations of new species is provided and some species formerly described from Inner Mongolia are revised. The faunistic analysis of Mongolian Plateau Stenodemini displayed that the Palaeartic species dominate among all species, the species only belonging to Palaeartic occupy 61.29 percent, 5 joint species are confined in Palaeartic and Oriental, accounting for 16.13 percent, 5 joint species are confined in Nearctic and Palaearctic, accounting for 16.13 percent, 2 joint species are confined in Nearctic , Oriental and Palaearctic, accounting for 6.45 percent .
