Camellia kweichouensis belongs to Theaceae and Camellia,an endemic plant of Guizhou province ,and there are great value of ornamental and economy in it. C. kweichouensis only found in Jiulongshan Qingzhen city base on a lot of research. Because of a rapid decrease in quantity and distribution area, however, the study on this species is still unknown. Therefore, the study focuses on the relationship analysis in the content of Al C. kweichouensis leaves, soil physicochemical properties and soil Al of five forms(0.02MCaC12 extractable Al, exchangeable A1, A1 complexed by soil organic matter, A1 oxide dissolved by hydrochloric acid, Al-chelated by humic acid). This study aims to discuss the especial soil condition fitting C. kweichouensis'growth and the method of effective conservation strategy for this endangered species.1.The content of Al C. kweichowensis leaves is very high, it is 3 043~4 757mg/kg.It is 1000 times more than the other plants. The contents of 0.02MCaC12 extractable Al and exchangeable A1 are higher than literature and the place without C. kweichouensis in Jiulongshan. 2.From the relationships of the content of Al C. kweichouensis leaves, physicochemical properties and soil Al of five forms: We can know there are significant negative correlation between the content of Al C. kweichouensis leaves and soil pH, the content of Al C. kweichouensis leaves and 0.02MCaC12 extractable Al are significant correlation. But the correlations are all not significant between the content of Al C.kweichouensis leaves and other target in study. 3.Results from analysis hereinbefore show: Al form C.kweichouensis'available absorb is 0.02MCaC12 extractable A1.It can grow well when the content of 0.02MCaC12 extractable A1 is higher than some measure in soil. Therefore the effect factors of C. kweichouensis'growth are 0.02MCaC12 extractable Al.4.Based on the present condition and the special requirement in siol Al3+ of C. kweichouensis, the effectively and mostly protective measures is in situ conservation. In order to protect endangered C. kweichouensis species, deep studies in physiology, cultivation, genetics, biology and so on should be made at the same time. 5. As C. kweichouensis is a enrichment Al plant, and Al is harmful for other normal plants and ecosystem. We can adopt some ways, such as disperse planting and reasonable fertilized in order to avoid the ecosystem disstroved.
