Reservoir Bank Slope Stability Analysis And Study On Protective Measure Of The Tree Gorge Chuandong Boatyard

After Tree Gorges Reservoir filling ,bank between elevation 145m～175m will collapse in more place with immersion in water long-time fluctuation scope increasing and faction of ground water. The paper analyzes the stability of the planes of Fuling area Lidu town Chuandong boatyard with limiting equilibrium method in view of the fact, regional geology environment and link with the character of the Tree Gorges Reservoir. Divide the region into five parties according to the representative section plane .the analysis focus on the four conditions: present and in nature, rainstorm and saturation, the water in elevation 175m, and water descend from elevation 175m to 145m. The conclusion is the planes are stable at present, but (2) and (3) plane will unstable at rainstorm and water descent condition.Without passing through the out wash and cut-off ,the bank in elevation 175m will collapse and reforge .The paper analyze the influence factor in water level, ground-water, river current, ground structure, bank aspects, wave action and vegetation condition with qualitative method. Draw the conclusion that the primary factor in (l)-a region is the wash act of the length-way current ;(1) region is wave action ;(2)and (3) region are collapse when rainstorm and water level descending and the lesser is wave faction ,ground peeled off with water fall and bedrock weathered; (4) region is wave faction and ground peeled off.The paper analyze the constitutive ,non-constitutive and surface protective measure which has carried on Three Gorges Reservoir and give out the comprehensive program in view of the stable estimating and influence factors on the bank reforge ,and take out the economical one. The program is that nearby elevation 175m water line building stone shore protection, along the road in region (2) and (3) building stone retaining wall and slide-resistant pile protecting road bed, and shooting concrete protecting the exposed rock, in the water front fine sand using gabion and earth fabric pillow, the mixed earth region using vegetation and slab stone .At last the paper take the preliminary design on slide-resistant pile and gravity stone retaining wall.
