The thought of "He and He" is the foremost forming part of harmonious ideas in China, and is the quintessential part of traditional Chinese culture. Probing into its influence on Chinese ancient scientific and technology culture is in favor of getting to the bottom of the inherent relation between Chinese traditional culture and ancient scientific and technological culture. Absorbing creatively the soul of Chinese ancient scientific and technological culture and getting rid of the draff, accordingly will do good to us for constructing a harmonious society of socialism.The thought of "He and He", is not a simple amalgamation but including the two aspects: the conflict and the amalgamation. There are plenty of ideas of "He and He" in Chinese traditional culture, which include Yin-Yang harmony, Oneness between Heaven and Man, and Interpersonal harmony concept.This thesis explored the foundation which shows us how the thoughts of "He and He" functioned on Chinese ancient scientific and technological culture. In other words, the learning of Dao-Qi determined the development directions of Chinese ancient scientific and technology culture, which is the harmonious uniform of human, nature and society. The learning of Dao-Qi is concerned with the transformation between Dao and Qi, and its basal ideas are Chinese traditional thoughts of "He and He. It came down the essence of "Dao". "Dao", "the metaphysician", is the inherent incompatible movement of Yin-yang; "Qi", "down-physician", refers to everything concrete in the world, generally including "acquired the learning of Xing-Qi", such as science, technology etc. The reasons for the learning of Dao-Qi to discuss the things, the wares and the skills are dissertating "Dao", experiencing "Dao" and acquiring "Dao". Whatever it varied, the scientific and technology as "Qi", should be attributed to "Dao", so will be there a harmonious world of the human being, nature and society.This study answered how the thought of "He and He" worked on Chinese ancient science and technology in history. In Chinese ancient scientific and technological culture, the concept of nature in science and technology is a wholesame concept. The method of science and technology possesses empirical, dialectic and unitary natures. The value of science and technology paid more attention to human beings themselves. The tropism of scientific and technological value laid particular stress on practicality. The value criterion of scientific and technological behaviors manifested "prefer Dao to Qi". They showed us the value requests of the harmonious unition of human being, nature and society.The thought of "He and He" can relieve the abuse in modern science and technology world.
