| The karst water not only holds very important status in the resources composition of karst environment but also has an important influence to karst environment's formation and transformation. Karst water in our country faced with pollution dangers as other karst areas in the word. Especially it is at the southwest karst area which in the economical fast development time. The pollution of the karst water quality had been prominent day by day because of the limit of physical geography condition, high degree concentration of agricultural production, slowly economic development and unwise land use etc. The land utilization research is the foundation of sustainable development in the karst areas. It also is the key to solve the pollution of karst water quality. It will be an important safeguard to the socialism new rural reconstruction that to take the scientific development concept as the instruction, guarantee the water quality security with the agricultural land use change in karst areas. Therefore, it will has a significant practical significance that to carry out the influence research of agricultural land use to the karst water quality and the study of the karst water resources sustainable use management, under the background of our country trying to implement the western development and the socialism new rural reconstruction, carrying out the ecological environment construction, advancing the comprehensive well-off construction vigorously.We choose a typical karst region, named Conglin ridge-trough region to carry on the water quality appraisal of shallow karst groundwater, take the investigation to the present karst water resources and agricultural land use and its change, make a revelation to the spatial-temporal change rule of shallow layer karst groundwater quality in Conglin and its intrinsic relations between the rule and natural factor with land utilization structure. We also discuss the influence of agricultural land use to the karst water quality, definite the sustainable use direction of karst water resources and the structural adjustment pattern of land utilization in Chongqing, in order to protect the karst groundwater resources and provide the scientific basis to the land utilization structural adjustment. As well as to provide the reference and the suggestion to all the areas of have same karst environment and developing process. The main methods involve field investigation and survey, karst water parameters measurement in situ, and water and soil samples collection and analysis.According to the previous data of the study regions, there is high quality karst water in the early of 1980s. The karst water quality tends to be polluted gradually during the past 20 years because of land use changes on the types, the degree and the area. Furthermore, the local pollution centers of karst groundwater system are consistence with the intensity centers of land use. So we think land use is the key cause of karst groundwater pollution. The spatial difference of several of trace elements in soil fits in with the land use distribution and spatial variation of karst water quality. It can be seen that land use can initiate great influence on elemental migration of soil. And spatial variation in trace elements of soil also responses to the negative environment effect of land use.Union present research of water resources protection and the characteristic of research area, the paper propose that the sustainable use management of karst water resources must take the scientific development concept as the instruction, insisting the humanist principle, according to the comprehensive, coordinated, sustainable development concept and the request of constructs the affluent society, take the integrated control measure, strengthen the influence research of agricultural land use to the karst water quality in Chongqing. Union the karst ecosystem management and the land utilization and land arrangements, take safeguards the agricultural water and the countryside resident potable water security as the goal to guarantee the karst area countryside resident can sustainable obtain the high quality karst water.
