Uranium resource is the strategic resource in our country. It is the important raw material of nuclear power, but also the most important raw material of national weapons equipment, which ensures national economy rapidly and sustainable development. Currently, because national nuclear power and uranium resource needing are at rapid growth, uranium resource has been one of the three most insufficient resources. So, they are the important topics in our country that improving uranium resource exploration technology, and utilizing and mining the uranium ore-finding information. This article is supported by the research project named"Regional Exploration Application Using Post-Remote Sensing Application Technology". In this article, developing extracting module of aero-radioactive thematic information, integrating with RS software platform, and application of aero-radioactive information are presented.The research background and the newly research advance about aero-radioactive special information extracting technology and its application ,and IDL application, are introduced first. Based on the systematic analysis of aero-radioactive special information extracting module, the geochemical theory, mathematic modules about special information extraction of U or K, multi-parameter focus analysis, and design of sub-modules and developing are presented. After finishing the developing of function modules, these aero-radioactive information are used for uranium exploration in Keping-Kuche area, Tarim Basin, Xinjiang province, which including the application of single thematic information, multi-parameter focusing information, and comprehensive analysis of the favorable uranium prospecting area.By above research, the following results are obtained. (1)The extracting module of aero-radioactive thematic information is integrated with ENVI, the remote sensing image processing software; (2) Based on the IDL, the computer program modules extracting following uranium thematic information have been developed, including initial uranium contents, active uranium contents, uranium migration coefficient, uranium information strengthen, uranium D-value and variance Ratio etc, al. Some of kalium special information extracting modules are also developed; (3)Based on the IDL, the aero-radioactivity information multi-parameter focus analysis module is developed; (4) It is proposed that a lots of phenomenon of uranium immigrating exist in Keping-Kuche are in the Neocene period. Because of the uranium pre-enrichment, the areas with high uranium content were formed in Neozoic and Quaternary. The above migration uranium are also the abundant source for uranium ore-forming in favorable strata of Mesozoic and Cenozoic system; (5)There are obvious uranium immigrating and enrichment in Eastern Portion of Keping Block Uplift, Yinate-Laolongjiang, and Qidaoban-KuChe. Such actions mainly occur in Pliocene series and Pleistocene series, but some others occur in Paleozoic system and Holocene. Because such uranium immigrating and enrichment regions are situated in some coverage of modern surface river and groundwater, the concentrated uranium maybe migrate again in different degree ; (6)By comprehensive analysis of aero-radioactivity and other geo-scientific information, three favorable metallogenic regions are presented. They are Qidaoban-Heizier area, Tumuxiuke-Kalayuergun area and Aqia-Akebulaka area.
