Middle-northern part of three-river metallogenic belt, which lies in the southern margin of the Eurasian continent ,the western margin of Yangtze block and the northern side of Dongba-Lantsang suture zone, belongs to Paleotethyan tectonic donmain. The Multi-information metallogenic prediction result indicated that the geological background of Middle-Northern part of three-river region is favorable for mineralization. The part has the characteristics of more kinds of metallogenetic elements, complicated mineralized types, and the widely distributed ore bearing stratum. The anomaly intensity of main metallogenetic elements is high, and the scale of main metallogenetic elements is big in middle-northern of three-river metallogenic belt, and it has the geology and geochemistry condition to form important territorial ore field.Based on the multiple information database of middle-northern of three-river region, the author comprehensively analyzed the regional geological structures, main ore control factors and mineralizing characteristics firstly. And then Taking seeking abnormally as the starting point of quantitative prediction and evaluation of mineral resources, and under the direction of geologic anomaly theory, this thesis extract the metallogenetic abnormal information from commodity geology, physical geography, geochemistry and remote sensing etc., and studies the correlation between geologic anomaly and mineralization using the multi-subject information. Taking high information processing techniques as means on the base of GIS, realize the process of effectual extracting, relevancy, conversion and comprehensive treatment of all manner of ore prospecting information (such as dominant and recessive, deep part and superficial part, direct and indirect), and carry out the study of multi-subject information integration and quantitative prediction and evaluation of mineral resources.Through the application of geo-anomaly ore forming theory to mineral resources prediction and assessment in middle-northern of three-river, this thesis find out the distribution of copper polymetal mineral resources in the study area, and sum up the regularities of distribution of geologic anomaly in region of interest, and then on the basis of integrated study of geology, physical geography, geochemistry and remote sensing etc., the author carried out the synthetic information metallogenic prognosis using Weight of Evidence Model, and delineated the metallogenic prospect area in middle-northern of three-river region.
