Identity is a common root that raises philosophical puzzles. As a concept of identity, it does not refer to anything such as intrinsic property; by contraries, it is required in order to distinguish something from others, which is essentially a logical concept. So, seeking for the basis of identity, we prefer to the daily foundation of identity rather than all or some identical properties possessed by different things. In this perspective, it is the key to the identical problem that we would regard"numerical identity"as the original meaning of identity. So does the trans-world identity problem. Moreover, in linguistic philosophy, the identity problem concentrates on the identity between the language expression and its reference; that is how we can talk about something clearly by the language expressions.
