In this paper, we formulate and study a three-species ecological community model consisting oftwo aphid species (A.pisum and M.viciae) and a specialist parasitoid (A.ervi) that attacks only oneof the aphids (A.pisum). Competition and predation act simultaneously in this ecological community. Our model overcomes several model construction problems in existing models. Moreover, our modelgenerates richer, more reasonable and realistic dynamics. We explore the model and find that acombination of density-mediated and trait-mediated indirect interaction contributes to communitystability. At last, we discuss the effective methods of biology control to restrain the increase of pests(aphids), thereby protect crops.
