Taste and taste preference play an important role in animal food intake and ingest behavior, also maintain the nutritionnal balance. Small intestine peristalsis is important to the food digest and absorption, they all participate in food intakes,digest and absorption, so we can confer taste and taste preference maybe have a close relation with smll intestine peristalsis in the above function.Experiment was designed using adult male Wistar rats as materials.Rats were trained to establish CTA by intraoral infusion sucrose(CS) paired with intraperitoneal injection of LiCl(US) to change taste preference of rats. Effect of taste an taste preference on small intestine peristalsis was abserved from intestine peristalsis,discharge of vagus efferent never and c-Fos expressions in the brain nerve nucleus.This research was composed of three parts:in the first part, we observed the effect of CTA on small intestine peristalsis;in the sencond part, we observed the effect of sweet stimulability and bitter stimulability on discharge of vagus efferent never after CTA;in the three part,effect of CTA on c-Fos expressions in the brain nerve nucleus was observed.Result:1 Comparing with control rats, after giving sucrose stimulability ,small intestine peristalsis rate debased in the CTA rats; and in the CTA rats, when sucrose stimulability was given, small intestine peristasis rate was lower than when water stimulabitiy was given.2 when sucrose stimulability was given, small intestine peristasis rate in the rats of vagotomy was lowwer than that in the rat of control rats.3 when sucrose stimulability or quinine stimulability was given ,discharges of vagus efferent never in the CTA rats were much more than that in the control rats in the time of preceding stimulability ,stimulability immediately, 30min stimulability, 60min stimulability. Besides, discharges of vagus efferent never in the CTA rats and that in the control rats had a increasing current in the time of preceding stimulability , stimulability immediately, 30min stimulability, but decreased in the time of 60min stimulability.4 Compared with quinine stimulability, discharges of vagus efferent never in both CTA rats and control rats had no difference when sucrose stimulability was was given.5 When the same sucrose stimulability was given, FLI neurons of SON and DMV in the CTA rats had much more expressions than that in the control rats. Furthermore, in the CTA rats, compared with water stimulability, FLI neurons of SON and DMV induced by sucrose stimulability had had much more expressions.6 When the same sucrose stimulability was given, FLI neurons expressions of SON, DMV and LH in the CTA rats were much lowwer than that in the control rats.Conclusions:1 CTA had an inhibitory effect on small intestine peristalsis, indicate taste preference has an effect on small intestine peristalsis, and inhibitory effect induced by CTA is corresponded with US(sucrose), this effect may have relations with vagus efferent never and humoral regulation.2 In the electrophysiology experiment, discharges of vagus efferent never in the CTA rats are much more than that in the control rats, indicates taste and taste preference may regulate small intestine peristalsis via vagus nerve, and dicharge can continude 1 hour, indicate humoral regulation also exists in the regulation. Besides, effect of sweet stimulability and bitter stimulability on vagus nerve maybe is identical after CTA established, zhe two stimulate may have no difference in coordinating taste information and gut information.3 FLI neurons of SON and DMV in the CTA rats had much more expressions than that in the control rats., but after vagotomy, expressions are lowwer. Idicate taste and taste preference may regulate small intestine peristalsis via vagus nerve,and humoral regulation also participates in the regulation. Afte CTA estabished,vagus nerve plays a much more important role in the course that gut information transfers into the brain, and vagotomy interdicts that taste regulates small intestine peristalsis.4 Taste preference has an effect on small intestine peristalsis, and CTA has an inhibitory effect on small intestine peristalsis, the regulation is mainly via vagus nerve, but the concrete pass needs thorough investigation.
