Cryosphere, which is one of the five layers of the Earth, response to the global change sensitively and obviously. Andit is difficult to take effective precautionary measures so far.The global change is notable question and the response ofcryosphere is an important component of modern environmentalchange. The response of glaciers is a hot forefront of theinternational academic research. Because the similargeographical distribution and environment, the YangtzeDrainage Basin, Lancang Drainage Basin and Nu Drainage Basin, which named the three river valley in whole, develop therelatively fragmented glaciers, including two types: major inmarine glacier and a few in continental glaciers. The respondto the climatic change of the glaciers are verycomplex. Limitted by the complexity of the geographic andtechnology, the concrete observation and research of eachglacier is very difficult. Based on the glacier system theorythat focus on the macroscope, using the database of theinventory information, and taking advantage of GIS, Excel andSPSS, etc, the paper analyze the inner structure features ofthe glacier system and subsystem, and predict the glacierchange under the global change depend on the model of theglacier system. The research show as followings:1. There aro 3,733 glaciers with 3986.03 km 2 in area and 281. 1861 km 3 in volume total, the most of which are small scaleglaciers, toward N and type in hang glacier, cirque-hangingglaciered. The analysis of the equivalent-line altitude (ELA)isogram indicates the main glacier supplies of the regionalglacier system is rainfall.2. The regional glacier system responds highly sensitive toclimate change. Most of the glacier melt runoff reaches themaximum around 2020, then drops down and vanishes in end.3.In long term, the period length of the temperature changeperiodic effects the glacier survival a little, while the rateof temperature change effects much more. The reduce rate ofglacier area and the glacier volume follow the temperaturechange and the glacier melt runoff change periodically.4.In any temperature increase scenario, the increase inprecipitation conductive to the survival of the glacier.
