The ladybird beetle, Harmonia axyridis Pallas, is mainly distribute in Asia. It is a highly polymorphic Coccinellidae with a wide geographic. Through the research, Tan found that the elytral colour polymorphism of Harmonia axyridis can heredity and associated with a series of multiple alleles. Since then, colour polymorphism in Harmonia axyridis has attracted the attention of researchers regarding the maintence of equilibrium polymorphism. Genetic polymorphism seems to be the strategy adopted for facing different habitats at different times. This study statistics and analyzes the Harmonia axyridis population collected from 1989,1999,2002 and 2005, and categorized into four types, succinea, conspicua, spectabilis and axyridis. We calculate the gene frequency and the phenotype frequency every year. And we try to find out the correlated relationship between the gene frequency (or phenotype frequency) and climatic factors (eg: temperature, humidity, sunshine etc.), and discuss the reason of this correlation trend via doing the regression analysis between the gene frequency(or phenotype frequency) and climatic factors. Among the correlation between elytral gene frequency and climate variables are most significant ones with the index of the October lowest air temperature, the July average relative humidity , month average valid sunshine. The October lowest air temperature, the July average relative humidity and month average valid sunshine are most significant correlations between elytral phenotype frequency and climate variables...
