With support of NSFC (National Natural Science Foundation of China) Funding: smart concrete and its structure(program No: 50238040) and the multi-field coupling mechanism and field diagnosis of carbon fiber intellective layer , aiming at healthy inspecting of concrete structure, we designed the carbon fiber intellective layer to sense the deformation and damage , meanwhile made elementary theoretical analysis and experimental researching.The primary work we did are as follows:1. Through uniaxial tension and cyclic loading experiment of carbon fiber felt, we researched the deformation-resistance character, obtaining the strain intelligent degree and sensitive limit by the experiment results. Considering the environment influence to resistance of carbon fiber felt, temperature- resistance character had been tested.During the microcosmic experiment, the sensing mechanism of carbon fiber felt had been analyzed primely.2. Cement based intellective layer: laying carbon fiber felt in the cement to generate the cement based intellective layer, as a strain sensor. The static and dynamic performance measured, in order to check the intelligent degree, linearity, repetition, creep, and stability and so on. At last, put this strain sensor on the concrete girder to inspect the structure deformation as application in civil engineering.3.Pitch based intellective layer: laying carbon fiber felt in the pitch to generate the cement based intellective layer, as a strain sensor. The static and dynamic performance is measured, in order to see check about the intelligent degree, linearity, repetition, creep, and stability and so on. Then we use it to inspect the creep of concrete in ChongQing Chao tianmen Changjiang Bridge and ChongQing Cai yuanba Changjiang Bridge.4. According to the stress-resistance character of intellective layer, we deduce the stress-resistance modulus matrix in the situation of two-dimension stress. Firstly, the basic formula through mechanic analysis is predigested to obtain the stress-resistance modulus in the state of two-dimension stress; each element of matrix then is confirmed. by experiment.
