Sufficient analysis on the water spectral properties is essential to the inversion of water quality parameters by remote sensing technique. The in situ optical data are higher in precision without the interference of atmosphere and can reflect the small characteristics about the spectrum. More researchers using statistics method study the in situ optical data got by different measurement method, construct models such as analytical models,empirical models,semi-empirical models or neural net models to analysis the influence of the three chief components(Chlorophyll-a, Suspended Sediment and Yellow Substance) to the apparent optic properties(AOPs) and inherent optical properties( IOPs). All these are based on the spectrum processing. But now the ability of data processing cannot meet the need of spectral application. In this thesis, we focus our research on the difficult problem between data transaction and data application, try to find a way to process spectral data quickly and conveniently.This research studies on the characteristics of in situ optical data, focusing on the application of spectral data, meeting the needs of data processing, aiming to build auseful and effective software system--Remote Sensing Water Quality Monitoringin situ Optical Data Processing System. This paper introduces the key technologies of water quality monitoring and the measurement method of in situ optical data, analysis the optic properties of water including AOPs and IOPs. Meanwhile the paper discusses the data processing procedure, points out the meaning of constructing the system, provides the detail program of the system such as requirement analysis,data structure analysis,processing procedure analysis,model designing and so on.My dissertation includes the following:(1),Given the application of spectral data, based on the spectrometer which often used in water quality monitoring remote sensing, this research make out the file format and content of these spectrometer.(2),Based on the water spectral properties and radiative transfers models, the paper tries to establish the arithmetic of data correcting, ascertain the models to computing water optical parameters.(3),Using modern software developing platform, the paper designs the remote sensing water quality monitoring in situ optical data processing system, validate the correctness and validity of the system by spectral data got at Taihu Lake in JiangSu province.
