With the rapid innovations of information and remote-sensing technologies, the spatial,radioactive,spectral and temporal resolution of satellitic remote-sensing images have been greatly advanced. Therefore, remote-sensing image processing comes to meet some new challenges, which includes: the data that attained by me-ans of remote-sensing have increased steadily, so the mass storage is one of the m- ain problems that it confronts. because of the great amount of computation and the complex operation, remote-sensing image processing needs the capability of more large-scale computing.To solve these problems above, computing grid can provide powerful computing and memory, and combine computing with memory well.so this Atmospheric modeling based on grid condition is very significant.Atmospheric modeling include mainly LOWTRAN,MODTRAN,FASCODE,HITRAN,SHARC,SAMM and 6S and so on. By searching and comparing modeling advantage and disadvantage, this searching employ Atmospheric model- ing(MODTRAN) to simulate by comparing advantage and disadvantage.The complicated mathematical model, atmospheric radiative transfer model (MODTRAN), is developed based on FORTRAN language. So we introduce CACATUS component and via Globus Toolkit 4.0(GT4), which is Open Grid Service Infrastructure. The net environment is constructed by UBUNTU system and GLOBUS platform. Then the necessary software and net agreement is installed in net environment. And finally the certificate and visa is generated with the net node to match the net's requirement. Finally the processing platform is constructed based on the former net environment. The net can allocate the MODTRAN to every computer node in the form of course. The realization of MPI is extended into an edition applicable to net computing environment by MPICH-G2, which can combine the MPICH-G2 and Globus and make it combine with net platform. Through the increasing of the nodes, the multi-MODTRAN is simulated. Then the contrast of atmospheric radiative transfer model between the simulation in net environment and that in the single computer environment is done.The majorities of Radiative Transfer Simulation at home and abroad are based on single computer, and not satisfied with this demand of trendy. However, this reseach is grid-based radiative transfer simulation,and impove pace of Simulation,and provide way to implement data sharing ,and meanwhile solve slow pace of Simulation as well.
