Chloroplast was a sensitivity organelle, the formation and development of chloroplast can be regulated by different environmental factors, the changes of chloroplast affected photosynthesis directly, light had a great influence on the development of chloroplast. Studying the changing of chloroplast regulated by light, knowing what light played roles in the development of chloroplast ,in the purpose of provide theoretically base for how to improves conditions to control the development of chloroplast, to promote the development of chloroplast ,to valid exploitation the light energy, to enhance the crop photosynthesis in agriculture.This study took P. radiatus and P. sativum as experimental material, Using the treatment of continuous illumination, flash light control the course of the development of chloroplast, we studied the ultrastructure of chloroplast by electron microscope, discussed the changes of thylakoid. The main conclusions are as follows:First of all the plastid appeared in inner cell, the etioplast appeared by flash light, then under continuous illumination chloroplast developed. using electron microscope we could see stroma thylakoid firstly, the stroma lamella arranged parallelly , then stroma lamella changed into bend gradually and drawed near, there was the phenomenon that the top of stroma lamella closed up mutually, we also discoverd the short and small stroma lamella . stroma lamella drawed and the colour turned into black, then stroma lamella displayed several set of shapes that closed up mutually ,there emergenced structure confusion in inner before we could see granum lamella,, By the experiment studied continuous growth process of chloroplast we has produced 3 viewpoints: 1) stroma lamella ruptured then drawed near parallelly finally granum lamella formed. 2) During the period of stroma lamella closed up, having generated matter in stroma lamella then granum lamella developed 3) May be that stroma lamella rotated drawing near , it was not that only simple drawed near parallelly , finally granum lamella formed.In order to know what light played roles in the development of chloroplast ,we used different frequency flash light, observed the growth of chloroplast, the un-stack and stack state of thylakoid, Under high frequency of IPL we could see granum lamella within short time , we concluded that the chloroplast growth was relevant with the IPL frequency ,the frequency of IPL regulated and controlled the un-stack and stack state of thylakoid .With IPL frequency increasing , the time of the chloroplast growth shorten, it explained that the chloroplast growth was connected with various factors such as frequency of IPL, the illumination time . We could say that light played not only be an energy also the signal role in the process of the chloroplast growth..
