Seed breading is the only pathway of regeneration of Haloxylon ammodendron. The behavior of seed germination influences the regeneration of H.ammodendron directly. Therefore, to know the behavior of seed germination of H.ammodendron in key phases during its life circle is the important task of researching the biology speciality of H.ammodendron. In this dissertation, the following four aspects are discussed: water eluviation, the biological test of germination inhibitory substances in different sits of seed and the separation and test of the inhibitory substances in seed, isozymes and special proteins at different stages of seed germination. The results are as follows:1. H. ammodendron seed germinated in the minimum time of 3 hours, the germination rate is 0.6%. the seed germination in 12 hours, 24hours, 36hours, 48hours are tested, and the germination rate is respectively: 23.85%, 64.87%, 72.89%, 82.73%. Most seeds have germinated in 24 hours.2. The biological test of germination inhibitory substances in different sits of seed shows that, H. ammodendron seed extract contains some inhibitory substances. These inhibitors can inhibit the seed germination of Chinese cabbage (Brassica chinensis L.), and the inhibitory effects of embryos are stronger than that of seed capsule. Using GC-MS analysis of the H. ammodendron seed germination inhibitors, it has been identified 17 possible germination inhibitors, which mainly organic acids and phenols. These substances are 2-Ethylhexanoic acid, 2-Butenedioic acid, 2,3,4-trihydroxybutyric acid, Azelaic acid, Palmitic acid, 11-cis-Octadecenoic acid, Linolenic acid, 2-Ethyl-3-droxyfumaric acid, 3-droxy-3-phenolpropionic acid, 2-droxypropanoic acid, phenol, Benzoic acid, 2,4-Dihydroxybenzoic acid , 4-Hydroxypheylethanol, 2-methoxy-5-Hydroxypheylethanol, Maic acid, Acetophenone.3. The experiment results on isozymes zymogram of the amylase and esterase of different germination stages of H. ammodendron seeds show that, amylase has three bands. The seeds which are not germinated have only one bands, and the seeds germinated in 3hours, 24hours, 48hours have three bands. Esterase has two bands. The seeds have only one band, and the seeds germinated in 3 hours, 24 hours 48 hours have two bands.4. The protein analyse by 2-D electrophoresis indicate that, seed protein fractions contained at least, 12 hours seed germination protein components increased, 24 hours and 36 hours germination of seed protein fractions significantly increased, 48 hours seed germination protein fractions reduced. Protein fractions mostly are small molecular weight proteins. Meanwhile, there are several special protein at germination stages, in 3 hours germination of seeds, a molecular weight of 12KD and 13KD are the specific protein, in 12 hours germination of seeds, a molecular weight of 22KD and 27KD are the specific protein, in 24 hours germination of seeds, a molecular weight of 25KD and 27KD are the specific protein, in 36 hours germination of seeds, a molecular weight of 11KD are the specific protein, in 48 hours germination of seeds, there were two specific protein, molecular weight is 10KD. They may be the special proteins of germination and development stages of H. ammodendron.
