The dissertation mainly investigates the control of spatial patterns of the interaction between light and two-level atoms system in ring cavity. First, the dynamic equation of the interaction between light and two-level atoms system in cavity is deeply investigated. Performs the linear stability analysis for this system in detail, proves the spatial instability existing, and considers the property of the instability domain under a variation of the bistability parameter C and detuning parameter θ . Then discusses the system of in the limit of adiabatic elimination of the atomic variables, thus one obtains the dynamic equation for transmitted field. Instability patterns of this system were obtained by numerical simulations. In this paper, we control the spatial instability by using the weak spatial perturbations, and then can stabilization of unstable patterns of rolls, squares, and hexagons. Discusses the influence of the time t, the bistability parameter C, the transmitted field steady-statesolution Is, the perturbation amplitude α0, and the different phases on the spatial patterns.
