Canada Goldenrod (Solidago canadensis L.) is a species of Solidago L., composite family. It is native to the America and Canada. In 18th century, it was introduced into Europe and spreaded to Asia and Oceania later. It has already become one kind of world invasion weeds now, and has the existence in most areas of our country, which harms to local entironment. Solidago L. has about 120 species, and it is difficult to identify them. Particularly, there is a great controversy about the relationship between Solidago canadensis L. and Hangying, and they were given a same Latin name without a clear identification, which poses great difficulty on plant quarantine.With anatomy method, the biological characteristics of Solidago canadensis L. and Huangying were observed under microscope using paraffin section method.
