Industrial digital photogrammetry, which make use of digital images, belong to high accuracy 3-D measurement techniques. the images of targets, automatic recognition and location of targets images are crucial techniques for high accurate and automatic measurement.The author had researched partial crucial techniques, which had been used in industrial digital photogrammetry. These techniques include the kind of artificial targets, the attributes of artificial targets, the imaging of artificial targets, artificial targets automatic recognition and location, and coded target. The following are main contents of the thesis.Industrial digital photogrammetry characteristic had been depicted in detail. Introduced the development and state of Industrial digital photogrammetry system in domestic and foreign. Analyzed the crucial techniques, which will be used when Industrial digital photogrammetry system will be developed.Classed the artificial targets that were used in industrial digital photogrammetry, depicted the characteristic of artificial targets, introduced the configuration and imaging of Retro-reflective targets in detail, and given the usable rule of targets in actual photogrammetry.The algorithms of recognition and location of targets had been studied, Analyzed the location accuracy of every location algorithms by test data, and reached a conclusion that algorithms of location was well for Industrial digital photogrammetry system.Introduced the importance of coded targets that often are used in automatic Industrial digital photogrammetry, developed two kinds of coded targets, introduced the code theory, and the algorithms of recognition and decoding of coded targets, the algorithms that proved were robust by test.The Retro-reflective targets and coded targets were applied successfully in detecting shapes of an antenna with a diameter of 17.2m loaded on a satellite and another lager one with a diameter of 50m.
