With the development of space remote sensing technology, the application range of space remote sensing technology expands fast as well as its application level, so the application, analysis and simulation technology of remote sensing satellite plays a more and more important role in collectivity design, equipment manufacture, data receive and performance analysis of spacecraft. With the support of national 863 project, this paper mainly researches on the technology of application and analysis for remote sensing satellite. The major work implemented is presented as follows:1. This paper summarizes the coordinate and time systems for describing satellite orbit, and analyzes the relationship between different coordinate system. Then it gives out the models for satellite' orbit simulation and the experiment result of simulation precision and speed of the models which can be a support for choosing the right model for simulation.2. On the base of orbit simulation, it gives out the model for satellite forecast report and experiment results whose precision arrive at the request of practice application.3. It presents the characteristics of data transimisson mode of remote sension satellite and simulates transimisson model. Therefor, the models of channel, antenna and route are designed. It founds the quality evaluation mode for remote sension satellite's chain, and discusses the impact of space environment on chain's performance and quality.4. A distributed interactive federate member of application and analysis for remote sensing satellite is designed based on HLA.5. Upon all modules, a distributed interactive simulation system for application and analysis of remote sensing satellite is founed which privdes experiments for developing the elementary platform of space environment.The simulation system for application and analysis of remote sensing satellite, is designed on the Microsoft Windows 2000 platform by using VC6.0. OpenGL and HLA bottom communication technology are used for implementing 2D animation and data communication with other federate members in the federate.
