The Pubugou hydropower station under construction located on the middle of Dadu river-on the border of Hanyuan County and Ganluo County in the west part of Sichuan province is the fifth power station in China. Debris flow is on the left side of the Pubugou hydropower station. Once the debris flow breaks out, the spillway and ways around and so on will be destroyed, even directly influenced hydropower station's construction. In the full text, author researched the nature characteristic and dynamic characteristic, and analyzed various factors causing flows debris. According to the characters of flow debris, calculated different data including velocity of flow, flux, wallop and so on. At last, confirmed that Shenqidi debris flow is viscosity debris flow. Because spillway and revising highway are designed in light of hundred years, the research predicated scopes corresponding with longevity. The debris flow belongs to medium scale.Basing on the ecumenical destruction of viscosity debris flow, and combining relation of debris flow, spillway, revising highway, the subject in the papers predicted happening scope, alluvial area and destruction to hydropower station. Moreover, side slope under dam has direct influence because of spillway. This paper analyzed happening mechanism of debris flow. Then put forward prevention countermeasure according to different destruction ways, irrational social and economic human action. Comparing different three prevention projects, at last we designed grille-dam and barrel-drain for the debris flows.Furthermore, the thesis adopt biological measures in the interest of optimum effect. Through above analyses, this paper contributed to later research and design work.
