Landslide has brought about great losses to the economic and societal development worldwide. Each year it causes a loss up to billions of dollars in the whole world. In china, 70% of the area is covered by mountains where landslide hazard happens frequently and densely. China is among those countries stricken most by this hazard. Invested funds is becoming more and more with recognition of government. But many problems are still need study. Study on the Stability Analysis and Treatment of Single Sliding Surface Rock Slope is among the problems.The article studied on the treatment from obtain Shear strength of discontinuities, analysis of slope stability and choose treatment method.The first part of This paper simply recounts the methods of shear strength determination and evaluates these methods. The words focus on the action of shear strength parameters of control discontinuities based on the limiting equilibrium theory for 10-30m high rock slopes. The results show that the action of cohesion is enhance with increasing height of slope and the action of internal friction angle is decrease with increasing height of slope. A group of curves are presented, of which the action of cohesion and the action of internal friction angle are equivalent on the curves. The analysis of the action of cohesion c and internal friction angleφon slope is become easy by the aid of the curves.Based on the limiting equilibrium theory, the second part of this paper deduce two dimensional dynamic stability evaluation and three dimensional dynamic stability evaluation of single sliding surface rock slide. The two dimensional dynamic stability evaluation include considering earthquake evaluation and ignore earthquake evaluation. The three dimensional dynamic stability evaluation include considering lateral frictional resistance evaluation and ignore frictional resistance evaluation.With these evaluations, program which can use to stability analysis, applicability analysis, analysis of the action of cohesion c and internal friction angleφof single sliding surface rock slide is designed with VB6.0. The program is applied to XiBaiPo memorial slope reinforcement of HeBei province. Stability factor of three sector and slope cutting applicability are calculated and slope cutting isn't considered applicable for XiBaiPo memorial slope reinforcement. The last, drainage method, retaining wallmethod and rock bolting method are adopted.
