Organic aerogels are interesting in the world as new nano-materials to researchers from different countries because of its special character and capacity. However, compared with inorganic aerogels the catagories of organic aerogels is very lack and the capacity to sock hydrogen is weaker, so hydroquinone is used to synthesize organic aerogels and the carbon aerogels are adulterated to improve their socking hydrogen capacity.Adjusting the consistence of catalyst in reactant (H/C ratio is about from 5 to 40), hydroquinone-formaldehyde organic aerogel (that is called HF organic aerogel) is synthesized by sol-gel and CO2 supercritical drying based on the reaction between hydroquinone and formaldehyde and carbon aerogel is obtained after carbonized. HF organic aerogels, and its carbon aerogels have been to tested by different ways in order to know and control their microstructure and characters. And some conclusions have been gained as following: the netstructure of HF organic aerogel is even ,their pore-size are about from a few nanometers to tens of nanometers, the size of gel grains are about 30-50 nm; its apparent density(0.0727-1.1963g/cm3) may be adjusted: they will increase when the catalyst contant or reaction contant increases, and the density of organic HF mellow aerogel (0.3230-1.1963 g/cm3) is bigger than that of HF organic aerogel (0.0727-0.5547 g/cm3) .After carbonization, the netstructure of aerogels is...
