This text is on the basis of analyzing the urban climatic change of Urumqi synthetically, have probed into the change characteristic of the urban climate of district oasis aridly . Utilize such continuous meteorological observation materials for a long time as the precipitation , temperature , relative humidity of 51 years ,etc. of 1951 - 2001 of weather station of urban area of Urumqi, adopt VB , EXCEL , Surfer series software carry on data analyse and process, through general trend analysis, Fractal characteristic analysis and R/S predict, have studied the climatic change characteristics and future climate variation tendencies over the past 51 years of urban area of Urumqi of oasis city.This text uses the analytic approach of the general trend to study the climatic change characteristic of the urban area of Urumqi at first. The analysis results indicate the whole climate trend of the urban area of Urumqi turns out warm and wet, this is more unanimous with whole great climate variation tendency step in Xinjiang. Later proved every meteorological key element is self- similarity , prove every meteorological key element have the characteristic of fractal , and deal with the critical point that the data can publish every meteorological key element separately with VB programming, utilizing Surfer software to map ocular contrast proves. Use R/S to carry on trend analysis finally, predict the climate in the future, the predict result is : The highest,minimum temperature shows a tendency to reduce, precipitation is on the rise.,Indicate the urban area future climate trend of Urumqi will turn out cold and wet.
