On The Relationship Between Subject And Object In Engineering Activities

In the past two years, there has been a new comer named philosophy of engineering, whose arising will be bound to start a fresh research direction for national philosophy of science and technology (natural dialectics).Under such civilization of today's engineering, the relationship between engineering and reality is rather close .Therefore, practicing philosophy study of engineering will not only lead to tremendous reality meaning, but also give rise to a series of breakthrough and creativities in philosophy.The dissertation puts the relationship between subject and object in engineering activities as the main study topic, firstly, based on the introduction from all aspects, to form the foundation of engineering in this area. Then demonstrating the traditional practical philosophy and the subject—object of cognition and practice, in order to lay hands on philosophy bases. Furthermore, introducing the characteristics of subject and object of engineering activities. Finally, with the mutual relationship between subject and object of engineering activities, on one hand, emphasizing human kind being practised the unity of "the good", "the beautiful ", "the true" in engineering area spontaneously; On the other hand ,through the unity between human beings and nature ,the unity of instrumental reason and value reason ,the unity of "tangible house" and "intangible house" in engineering activities, the three unities indicate the importance of setting up scientific view of engineering and ecology, correcting the traditional perspective of technological alienation ,giving prominence to unity of the means and the end, emphasizing the significance of the combination of tangible material engineering and intangible engineering. Calling human beings to achieve the three aspects' unity with consciousness. Let the engineering construction and creativity embody the core theme of "people foremost" and "humanitarian care".Only in this way, can subject and object in engineering activities avoid the respective separated states, bridge substantial unity of the both and accomplish the final purpose which engineering promises.
