Study On The Theory And Method Of Water Safety Assessment In Karst Regions

With the continued increasing of population and the rapid development of economy, water crisis, taking water scarcity and pollution as its chief characteristics, has occurred, which has caused a series of social, economic and ecological environmental problems, and the traditional subjects and research methods couldn't solve them efficiently. So, new theories,new methods and new technology need to be put forward.Based on these points, the dissertation studied the theory and method of water safety assessment, and took Guizhou province, the representative Karst province, as an example, assessed its water safety situation at temporal and spatial level. The main contents and methods of the dissertation are as follows:Based on the summing-up of researches on Water Safety and Sustainable Development, the dissertation summarized systematically the basic theory on regional water safety, including the concept, connotation and extension of water safety, the characteristics of water safety, and so on.
