In this thesis, based on the non-relativistic energy level structure and fine structure for multi-electron atoms, as well as the theory of microwave Zeeman effect, Zeeman effect of the 1s np configuration of helium are studied systematically with the help of angular momentum coupling theory and irreducible tensor theory, including spherical tensor form of the Zeeman Hamiltonian, the matrix elements in the LSJMJ scheme. The energy splitting is presented as a function of magnetic field. There are five chapters in this thesis. The main contents are listed as following:In chapter one, elementary theories utilized in the thesis are outlined. They are angular momentum coupling theory, irreducible tensor theory, Zeeman Hamiltonian for multi-electron atoms, and the Ritz variational method that used to calculate the non-relativistic energy of Helium, in which the exchange interaction between the inner shell and outer shell electrons and the dissimilar screening parameters for different shells are considered. Furthermore, the corresponding parameters of radial functions for single electron in four different configurations of helium are computed, which will be useful in calculating the 18 radial integrals and g factors in chapter five.In chapter two, in virtue of angular momentum coupling theory, the Zeeman Hamiltonian for multi-electron atoms (including the linearly and...
