Coal mine water is all the water that is inpoured into the mines from everwhere in the process of mining. The release of untreated coal mine water without utilization will not only pollute the environment, but also waste the water resource which is not abundant relatively in our country.On the basis of the analysis of coal mine water from the first and the second XinJi coal mines, this paper analyzed the correlations of the quantity and the indexes of quality of coal mine water, the relativities of typomorphic components and trace elements, and the relations between the typomorphic cmponents, analyzed the distribution characteristics and the exceedance probabilities of principal pollution indexes, and choosed the technics of advanced treatment of coal mine water on the basis of existing techics in Xinji coal mine.After the analysis above, the conclusion indicated as follows: XinJi coal mine water containing suspended substance and high salinity was mainly from aquifer;K, Na in the water chiefly existed as chloride;total hardness had the trend of accretion when the concentrations of Cl- and SO42- were increased;the concentrations of Ca2+, Mg2+, K++Na+, SO42- were relative to the TDS markedly;the relations between Pb, Zn, Cu and typomorphic components were not remarkable;the exponential regress was the best model to prove the relativities of Fe and Ca2+, Mg2+, Cl-, the linear regress to the relations of Cr and Ca2+, Mg2+, the quadratic regress to the Cr and Cl-, and also the quadratic regress to the Cd and K++Na+, SO42-;the exceedance probabilities of turbidity, chloride, TDS and the concentration of Fe were 100%, 100%, 100% and 85.71% when the coal mine water was compared with the standard of drinking water, and the exceedance probabilities of suspended substance, total hardness and the concentration of Fe were 100%, 100%, 85.71% when compared with the standard of feedwater to boiler;on the basis of exceedance probability analysis, choosing contact oxidation to reduce the concentration of Fe and the reverse osmosis to treat the coal mine water further was appropriate.
