The modern geological data visualization is a kind of technology applying themode of computer graphics and Geographical Information System to display andintercrossing process the geological data in the way of graphics. It shows the spatialdata and attribute data by geography, and the relationships and development trend ofthe data was explored that was the base of quickly and correct decision-making.Based on the research of the technology of geo-data visualization and datamanagement, the method of object-oriented, the key technologies of GIS, and thespatial location of geographic objects, this thesis discussed the effective andconvenient visualization means for two-dimensional geological data. It was used thatthe analysis method of Object-Oriented to encapsulate the data and methods of themodel, and to design the classes and objects of the model. Using programminglanguage of Visual C++.NET for Windows 2000 operation system, some functionswere achieved as follows: displaying and browsing for two-dimensional geologicaldata, connecting and querying between spatial vector data and attribute data, editingtwo dimensional geological data. The interface of the system was convenient andfriendly for users.
