Artificial groundwater recharge is one of the new technologies about the utilization of nature resources and protection of eco-environmental. It covers many fields of subjects about hydrology, geology, water resources, economic protection, computer science and remote sense science, etc..Based on field survey and detailed research work and referencing the related test works done by others, we collected a lot of data about geology, hydrogeology, precipitation, groundwater exploitation and water quality of the Yufuhe River. Then we selected a segment of the Yufuhe river bed which has the high penetration as the recharging test area and did two times of recharging test in 2002.The test work includes:(1)How the groundwater recharging does well for the springs gushing and improve the water environment. For the analysis of this process, we selected 4 sections to measure the discharge and selected 46 wells to monitor the groundwater table.(2)How is about the penetration of the faults in the spring field. We selected 12 automatic monitoring wells to analysis.(3)Established a hydrogeology model to analog the process of artificial recharge and designed 7 plans of pumping and recharging to predict the water level in the spring field.(4)Put forward the effective method of karst springs protection and water resources optimization and allocation.This paper submitted a large scale of artificial recharge test and will be benefit to the study of recharging work in the karst spring areas. It also has the wide scope of spread and application in the actual work of water resources management.
