Investigation Of High Vegetation Resources In Maowusu Sandy Land

Bases on the natural condition, Maowusu sandy land is compartmentalized 4 regions of grassland, desert, sandy land and low everglade. By sampling, 4 regions floristicses and botanic communities are investigated. There are 106 advanced vegetation species in this area, they are belonging to 98 families and 420 genuses. Among the Resource of advanced vegetation, 879 species are dicotyledon and belonging to 98 families and 420 genuses, 202 species are monocotyledon and belonging to 16 families and 84 genuses, 12 species are gymnosperm and belonging to 3 families and 12 genuses, 13 species are fern and belonging to 8 families and 10 genuses. Predominant families are Compsitae,Gramineae,Leguminosae,Rosaceae and Chenopodiaceae . Predominant genuses are Artemisia, Astragalus, Allium, Salix and Populus. Owing to zonal vegetation and not zonal vegetation, the advanced vegetation has developed grassland vegetation, desert vegetation, sandy land vegetation and low everglade vegetation. Predominant vegetation in grassland is form. Stipa grandis, form. Stipa bungeana, form. Stipa gobica, form. Stipa breeviflora, form.Thymus serpyllum s. l. and form. Artemisia frigida. Predominant vegetation in desert is form. Reaumuria soongorica, form.Caragana tibetica, form.Caragana korshinskii. Predominant vegetation in sandy land is avant-courier vegetation, form.Artemisia ordosica and others Artemisia half shrubs vegetation, form. Rhamnus erythroxylon, form.
