Study And Implementation Of Digital Mapping Management Information System Of MapPW (NT)

Currently, the map has gone deep into a lot of trade including the government management and decision-making, the city planning and the land management, the city facilities management, disease preventions, the intelligent traffic and the navigation, the mobile communication, the military, the agriculture, the enterprise marketing etc. Along with the improvement of its technology, the application range of map will be more extensive and thorough, and therefore the application will also advance ulteriorly the progress of map. However, the mode of traditional mapping depends on people mostly that people note data outside and people draw by hand. Then users can measure or calculate coordinate, distance and area and so on by the map. So by this way the above precision is determined by map precision. The map that is produced by such method can't satisfy demanding increasing day by day due to the method's low efficiency and quantity. Under such situation, the digital mapping has developed and already accepted and applied by survey and related trade. Along with the popularity electronic total station and computer the digital mapping is more important. Because the digital mapping is effective, simple, well-product, well-stored and simple-operated it is accepted by surveyor in place of the traditional way. Since the technique already is not a fresh, why I still try my best to develop digital mapping management information system? After I have used some digital mapping systems and sum up their characteristics and performance when I practiced in work, I have some conclusions: â‘ Now the digital mapping systems in the market face the singular user;â‘¡They can't adapt to the development of dynamic trade. Therefore, this paper aim is to develop one digital mapping system which can provide data collection, data edit, work together, data from cad to gis, data analysis and data management in the center of data. And this system must follow with not only the development of science but also scientific management, such as cadastral survey, pine survey, data analysis, data statistics, data from cad to gis etc. and provide right digital information.
