Chaos control and synchronization have been intensively studied in recent years, and they have become a hot topic in the research field of chaos. The thesis mainly focuses on the chaos control and synchronization of nonlinear system. The main content is depicted as follows:Firstly, the paper discussed the impulsive control of a kind of nonlinear dynamic system.Secondly, the paper discussed the problem of chaos synchronization about a sort of nonlinear dynamic system.Finally, a new method of chaos control and synchronization is proposed in this paper, this approach is based on the stable manifold theory, the chaotic system will be controlled and synchronized if it is guided the desired target by designing asuitable controller. The effectiveness of the method is tested by Lu system.As above, the proposed schemes have systematically solved chaos control and chaos synchronization problems for a class of nonlinear systems. All conclusions have been proven on the basis of Lyapunov stability theory and validated via the computer simulation examples.
