Spatial information is widely used in many areas to help people make decisions and arrange work.. Facility management has to deal with problems such as where the devices are, what are the properties of devices, and so on. Geography Information System (GIS) is good at dealing with these problems. GIS is a technology to store, display and analyze spatial data. INTERNET has greatly changed the way of acquire information. It is very popular to search information through a Web browser. Web-GIS is a new technology integrating GIS with INTERNET technology. Instead of investing in costly, high-end software, hardware, and training, Web-GIS users need only a Web browser and Internet access to view, analyze, and track related spatial data. Geodatabse is an object-oriented spatial database based on enterprise related database manage system. With Geodatabase, users can define the behaviors of the objects, apply validation rules, connection rules to data to achieve some special goals. Users can easily use Geodatabase to module devices, equipments and facilities in facility management. It is very efficient to search spatial and non-spatial information in Geodatabase. This thesis introduce a solution to build a facility management information system base on Web-GIS and Geodatabase, and give an example in detailed process on how to build an facility management information system based on Web-GIS.
