The Study On Data Organaization And Realization Of Object Orientated TGIS

The crucial task for temporal GIS (TGIS) is to seek the evolvement rules of features in the world through illustrating and describing the temporal spacial object dynamically, then provide all kinds of support for human being' s decision. Currently, the major difficulties that TGIS confronted with is: l,How to manage the historic data; 2,How to organize multi-resource data reasonably, seek the solution of TGIS openness; 3,How to access mass TGIS data quickly, seek the solution about system performance.In order to resolve these problems, this paper illustrate an object oriented (00) solution on TGIS data organization and data management, which gave each TGIS object 4 time attributes (show start time (SS), show end time (SE), extinction start time (ES), and extinction end time (EE) ), these 4 kinds of time attributes can generally simulate life circle of every features on earth ,and the domain of the time can extend to the whole of the time space. In order to resolve the openness of TGIS , this paper gave a example on how to transform the non- temporal GIS (SHP) data to TGIS data. What' s more, this paper discussed the solution on how to effectively access and handle the mass TGIS data considering of the system performance.At last, this paper discussed the TGIS realization based on the 00 thoughts, and analysis the prospect of application of TGIS in the future.
