Yi-Shu-Si basin of Shandong province is the most serious area of water and soil losses overHuaihe basin. The emergence and development of water and soil losses for a long time, cause theland to cut brokenly, the area of stony desertification is expanded, natural vegetation depredated,bio-diversity destruction, soil degradation, water resource consume, ecosystem function decay, flood and droughts hurt getting frequent, have formed the special erosion environment. Theextensive distributions of soil and water losses have aggravated the contradictions of the population, resource, environment and development, high-density population avail themselves of the naturalresources predatorily in order to survive and develop. It has very important meanings in controllingwater and soil losses and constructing eco-environment to carry on ecological function districts andto study the erosion characters of Yi-Shu-Si basin of Shandong province.Because of its ocular, vivid, high-efficient working way, diversified information sources andstrong ability to deal with space data, GIS is widely used in such fields as water and soilconservation and ecological function districts, etc. The application of the computer and GIS hasbrought enormous efficiency in water and soil conservation in recent years, especially in soilcorroding investigating and appraising aspects. It has saved the funds expenses, raised efficiency, produced enormous society and economic benefits since GIS is more and more used in soilcorroding investigating, setting-up of the information system of water and soil conservation andecological function districts.Referring to the domestic and international materials about soil and water losses andconservations, the thesis sets up the ecological function evaluation index system and appraisemodels of water and soil conservation for the experimental region combining t its uniqueness.Based on the evaluation of the ecological function of water and soil conservation, the experimentalregion is divided into several different kinds of ecological function districts and thecountermeasures for constructing eco-environment are put forward.First of all, The thesis defines the ranges of Yi-Shu-Si basin of Shandong province, summarizesthe physical geography state and social economic situation of this area and analyses the soil erosionsituation and problems existing in ecological environment construction and protection work at...
